The Seeds of Growth™ program will help how to build and test a business model using lean startup frameworks;

1. How to develop an offer that people want using design thinking ‘customer centric’ approach
2. Understand the most common models for innovation in primary production through case studies
3. How to get ongoing business advice and support from government and private entities

+ How will the program be delivered?

The Seeds of Growth™ program will be delivered primarily virtually (and in-person where feasible). This is to ensure that there is minimal disruption caused by any immediate changes in regional travel circumstances.

The Seeds of Growth™ is an action packed 90-day journey, with content delivered in three steps each week. Through online content, weekly challenges & journals and an online weekly workshop. Over the next 90-days, aside from each cohort member, the Seeds of Growth Journal will also be your greatest companion bringing structure to your innovation journey and pushing you to move towards action. We expect to see a few coffee stamps on those pages!

+ What is the commitment from Seeds of Growth™ course participants?

• Minimum of 2hrs of self-paced learning and challenge activities per week, plus as much additional as you can!
• 2hr virtual workshop per week with fellow cohort members.
• Hard work and late nights researching, emailing, debating, product refining, website building etc.
• To experience the power of focus and accountability
• To be pushed out of your comfort zone
• To connect with an amazing local support network
• Understand the power of leveraging your existing network
• To gain an understanding of the many support networks and free resources that exist around you

+ Will I need to attend the Innovation Inspiration workshops to apply for Seeds of Growth™?

You are highly encouraged to attend the Innovation Inspiration workshops if you intend on applying for the Seeds of Growth program. The workshops help to provide an overview of what will be covered in depth through the 90-day Seeds of Growth program and help you understand if this program is the right fit for you. Participants at the Innovation Inspiration session will be provided details to put in an Expression of Interest to participate in the Seeds of Growth program.

+ What is the selection criteria for the Seeds of Growth™ program?

Applicants must be commercially operating in the agrifood sector in the region sponsoring the program. We have businesses as young as a few months pursuing a specific market opportunity through to established businesses over 10 years launching new and innovative products to take to the world. Through the program, we encourage a diversity of business owners that have unwavering conviction in their story, product or service and want to give it a big boost!

+ What is the cost of the Seeds of Growth™ program?

Each participant will be required to pay a participation fee that will be subsided by local governemnt support agencies.

+ What is the cost of the Actioning Innovation program?

As a participant of the Actioning Innovation, you will only need to pay $500 for your participation in the 90-day on-on-one program. This program is valued at $15,000 per course participant, but due to the generous support from the local partners, participants are charged just $100 per head. This participation fee is primarily intended as a show of commitment and ‘skin in the game’ to reserve their seat in this competitive program.
