Actioning innovation is a 12-week mentoring program tailored to the specific scale up needs of selected companies who have completed Seeds of Growth. Companies are selected from all SoG courses and chosen via a judging panel assessing submissions and presentations. The companies are considered the most ready for scaling their product to a new market, expanding their existing market or product offering. All companies receive sponsorship to offset the cost of the Accelerating Innovation program.

Program objectives

• The Actioning Innovation program is a one-on-one business support program aimed at three of the most promising young businesses from the Seeds of Growth™ program, providing them with tailored business strategy support and mentorship to make their action plans a reality. 

• Participating entrepreneurs are challenged to set ambitious goals to scale their businesses and build the foundations for a lasting, resilient business. 

• Coordinated support from a Beanstalk business coach, Food Innovation Australia Limited (FIAL), and a regional support network bring additional mind and muscle to make it happen.

How the program is taught 

The program is taught over a 90-day period using a mixed learning approach utilising: 

• on-on-one coaching 

• group workshops

• co-mentoring
